FROM OPENING TEAM MEMBER TO RESTAURANT MANAGER: ANTONIA GARCIA

Hired in July 2015 as an opening team member at our restaurant in St. Charles, Antonia showed exciting potential right away and within just three months was promoted into several new positions as she continued to grow her skills. Her drive and enthusiasm to further her career within the company lead her to become a Restaurant Manager in 2016, and Antonia continues to thrive in that role.

Norma YbarraFROM CASHIER TO GENERAL MANAGER: NORMA YBARRA

Norma Ybarra joined the Buona Team in 2002 as a cashier at our Hillside location. She quickly became certified across all front and back-of-the house stations after being there for only a brief period of time and eventually assumed the position of Co-Manager. Norma's great attitude and eagerness to learn did not go unnoticed and lead her to be promoted to General Manager of our Oak Park location in just a few short years. She has assisted with the expansion of our company by managing multiple stores and still remains part of the Buona Family.

FROM DISHWASHER TO DISTRICT MANAGER: JOE TROMBINO

Joe has been with Buona since we were only one restaurant in Berwyn, beginning his career in 1988 as a cook and dishwasher. It didn't take long for Joe's passion and enthusiasm for the restaurant industry to reveal itself, and by 1990, after helping successfully open our second location, he was promoted to Restaurant Manager. From there, he was asked to help manage several restaurant openings, including Naperville, Rosemont, Montgomery, and Bolingbrook. Today, Joe serves as a District Manager, overseeing several of our restaurants.

FROM CASHIER TO CORPORATE EXEC: DOMINIC FALLARA

Hired in 1994 as a cashier at our Oak Park location, Dominic immediately impressed management with his high‐level thought process and terrific work ethic. In 2000, upon earning his bachelor's degree from North Central College, Dominic was promoted to Assistant Manager. By 2001, Dom was already a General Manager focusing on new store openings. Continued success in the operations field led to his promotion to Director of Training in 2012, and a subsequent promotion to Director of Development in 2014.
