Opened in 2016, the Buona location in Beverly was the very first Buona Beef restaurant to open within the Chicago city limits. Founded in Berwyn in 1981, family-owned Buona restaurants serve Chicago’s original Italian beef along with other Chicago street food classics like Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef and sausage combos, and meatball sandwiches. The menu also includes a wide selection of burgers, chicken sandwiches, fresh salads, and pastas. The restaurant has become an institution in the deeply rooted Beverly community.
