Buona opened on Plainfield Road in Countryside in June 2021, and our catering team has been feeding offices, schools, churches, and families across Countryside, La Grange, Western Springs, Burr Ridge, and the rest of the western suburbs ever since.
Our marinara comes from a family recipe handed down from our grandmother, our pasta is cooked to al dente, and our Top Sirloin is dry roasted for hours so the drippings become natural gravy. It all goes back to 1981, when the Buonavolanto family opened their first restaurant in Berwyn.
Every Countryside event is a little different, so we let you combine formats. Order an all-inclusive buffet, pre-made sandwich trays, boxed lunches, or à la carte trays, and round it out with salads and desserts.
Signature Buona Beef, Chicken Parmesan, and Signature Rigatoni Marinara fill out a two or three entrée buffet.
Combo Beef and Sausage, Meatballs Marinara, Crispy Chicken, and Chicken Caesar Cutlet sandwiches in every tray.
Sandwich boxes, Spicy Chicken Ranch premium salad boxes, and Beef and Sausage Bowls, packed for each guest.
Tuscan Pomodoro Grilled Chicken, Meatballs Marinara, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Ricotta Cheese Ravioli by the tray.
The Buona Original Chopped Chicken, Old Neighborhood House, and Nonna's Potato Salad serve ten or twenty.
Cannoli, fudge brownies, and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies on a dessert tray.
