Buona opened on Rand Road in Mount Prospect in December 2019, and the restaurant also features The Original Rainbow Cone. Since then, our catering team has served office meetings, school activities, graduation parties, and family celebrations across Mount Prospect and the neighboring northwest suburbs.
Buona’s story begins in 1981 with the Buonavolanto family’s first restaurant in Berwyn. We still start our Italian beef with Top Sirloin that is dry roasted for hours, so the drippings turn into natural gravy, following the original family recipe. Fresh pasta cooked al dente and a marinara handed down for generations round out the menu.
Some events need a full hot buffet, and others just need everyone fed quickly. Order an all-inclusive buffet, grab pre-made sandwich trays, send out boxed lunches, or build your own menu from à la carte trays, then add salads and desserts whenever you like.
Build a buffet with Italian Sausage and Peppers or Rigatoni in vodka sauce, then add a salad to complete the meal.
Italian Beef, Chicken Caesar Cutlet, cheeseburgers, and Chicago-style hot dogs, wrapped and ready to serve.
Sandwich boxes, premium salad boxes, and Chicken and Avocado Bowls, one complete meal per guest.
Tuscan Pomodoro Grilled Chicken, Signature Rigatoni, Meatballs Marinara, and more, one tray at a time.
The Buona Original Chopped Chicken, Honey Mustard Chicken, and Classic Caesar, finished with all-natural dressings.
Cannoli plus cookie trays with chocolate chunk and white chocolate macadamia nut.
