Buona has been a family business since 1981, when the Buonavolanto family opened its first restaurant in Berwyn. Our Top Sirloin is dry roasted for hours until the drippings turn into natural gravy, so the flavor comes from the beef itself with no additives. The marinara is a family recipe handed down through generations, and the pasta is cooked al dente. Lakemoor serves the same recipes as every Buona restaurant.

Italian beef anchors the menu, sliced thin from Top Sirloin that is dry roasted for hours and served in its own gravy with sweet peppers or hot giardiniera. Add Italian sausage for a combo, or choose a meatball sandwich, a Chicago-style hot dog, a cheeseburger, a grilled or breaded chicken sandwich, a chopped salad, fresh rigatoni marinara or tavern-style pizza cut into squares.
