Buona Catering opened on US Highway 12 in Lakemoor in February 2022. Since then, our catering team has been serving offices, schools, and families around Lakemoor, Wauconda, Volo, McHenry, and Fox Lake.
Our Top Sirloin is dry roasted for hours until the drippings turn into natural gravy, just as the Buonavolanto family made it when they opened their first restaurant in Berwyn in 1981. The marinara is a family recipe handed down through generations, and our pasta is cooked to al dente.
Some events call for a full buffet, others for sandwich trays or individual boxed lunches. Mix and match formats, then add a salad and a dessert tray so every guest is covered.
Lemon Chicken, Signature Buona Beef, and Signature Rigatoni in vodka sauce fill out a two or three entrée buffet.
Vodka Chicken Parmesan Cutlet, Cheeseburger, Combo Beef and Sausage, and Chicago-Style Hot Dog sandwiches come ready to serve.
Sandwich boxes, Honey Mustard Chicken premium salad boxes, and Beef and Sausage Bowls packed for each guest.
Meatballs Marinara, Ricotta Cheese Ravioli, Italian Sausage and Peppers, and Fettuccine Alfredo by the tray.
Spicy Chicken Ranch, Buona Original Chopped Chicken, and Nonna's Potato Salad serve ten or twenty.
A cannoli tray and a cookie and fudge brownie tray finish the meal.
