Buona opened on Rand Road in Kildeer on November 15, 2023, as a dual concept location shared with The Original Rainbow Cone. Since then, our catering team has handled office lunches, graduation parties, birthdays, and holiday gatherings for families and businesses across Kildeer and nearby Lake County communities.
Buona’s roots go back to 1981, when the Buonavolanto family opened their first restaurant in Berwyn. We still make our Italian beef from Top Sirloin that is dry roasted for hours, the way the family recipe has always called for, and our fresh pastas and marinara are prepared the way the family has served them for generations.
Choose the catering setup that works for your event. All-inclusive buffets combine entrées, sides, and salad in one order. Boxed lunches give each guest their own meal, pre-made sandwich trays are ready to serve, and à la carte trays let you pick exactly which Italian beef, pasta, salads, and desserts end up on the table.
Build a buffet around Signature Buona Beef or Chicken Parmesan, then add Fettuccine Alfredo and a Classic Caesar.
Combo Beef and Sausage, Chicken Caesar Cutlets, cheeseburgers, and Chicago-style hot dogs, ten to a tray.
Pick a sandwich box, a premium salad box, or a Chicken and Avocado Bowl for each guest.
Meatballs Marinara, Italian Sausage and Peppers, Signature Rigatoni, and Lemon Chicken, one tray at a time.
Honey Mustard Chicken, Spicy Chicken Ranch, and the Old Neighborhood House, finished with all-natural dressings.
Cookie and fudge brownie trays plus cannoli for a sweet finish.
